Why Riftjaw exists
Most prospecting tools work like a meter. You rent access to somebody else's database, every lookup costs a credit, and the moment you stop paying the work you did is gone. The lists, the notes, the replies you tracked: they lived in a tool you never owned.
At the same time, most people who find their own customers already have the raw material. A scraper export, a directory list, a spreadsheet from a trade fair, an old CRM file. What they miss is one place to put it all, clean it up and actually work it, week after week.
Riftjaw is that place. You bring the companies, Riftjaw turns them into records in a database that belongs to you. It runs on its own private server per account, and you can export everything whenever you want.

Every lookup costs a credit, so you hesitate before every search.
There is no meter. Import, derive emails and send from your own data without counting.

How we build it
A few principles we check every change against.
You own the data
What you import, and the segments, fields and notes you build on top of it, stay yours. We never sell it and never use it for our own purposes.
Leaving is easy
Export contacts, segments, form entries, campaign logs and the original import files as CSV, on any day you choose.
Gentle by default
Campaigns go out in small batches and unsubscribed contacts are skipped automatically.
No meter on your own work
No credits and no per record fees. Import a list, match the columns and use every row. A price per plan, and unlimited users on an account.
One server per account
Your records, campaigns and activity live in their own database on a private server, not in one big shared pool.
Your domain, your mail
Campaigns go out over your own SMTP from your own domain, so people see who is writing and replies go straight to you.
What Riftjaw is, and what it is not
Riftjaw is a dashboard at riftjaw.com that you log in to. You import lists, fill in what is missing, organise companies into segments and reach them with email campaigns and forms. That is the whole idea, done properly.
We say what the product does and what it does not. If something is a guess, like a derived email, we call it a guess. So here are the limits, before you find them yourself:
- No data for sale. There is no database of contacts to buy. You bring your own sources.
- No crawling. Riftjaw does not scan the web for you. With paste and collect you supply the page yourself.
- No SMS. Campaigns are email only.
- No automated writing or scoring. You write your own messages and decide who to reach.
- No newsletter suite. It is built for prospecting, not for mailing tens of thousands of subscribers.
Every record keeps its own history
Pipeline status, tags, details, lead file, the date it was added and every campaign it received sit together on one record. Week after week that history builds up in your own database, not in a tool you rent.
