A private database per account, explained what it means for your list
Every Riftjaw account runs on its own private server with its own database. What that means for your lead list, your team and the day you leave.
- No credits, no data tax
- Your data stays yours
- Email only, on purpose
- Unlimited users
Your list in a database of its own
Many lead tools keep all customers in one shared database and show each account its own slice. A private database per account works the other way round: your records sit in a database of their own, on a private server that belongs to your account, not in a pool with other customers.
We run and maintain that server for you; there is nothing to install. Riftjaw is a website you log in to. What changes is where your list lives: the companies you import, your notes, tags and the email history stay in your own database, apart from everyone else.
Your data stays yours. You can export a whole list, a segment, form submissions or the original import file to CSV at any time, also on the day you leave. For the data itself you are the controller and Riftjaw is the processor; the data protection guide for small business from the European Data Protection Board explains those roles in plain words. We do not promise compliance: you decide who you email and what you say.
What a private database means in practice
No shared pool
Your list is not mixed with the lists of other customers and is not offered to anyone else. Another account cannot see your records.
No credits, no data tax
You bring your own data, so there is no cost per record: a flat price per plan, and the size of your list does not change the price.
Unlimited users
Your whole team works in the same database with their own logins. If a laptop goes missing, you can log out everywhere with one click in the settings.
Leave with everything
Export to CSV whenever you like. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
From your files to your own database in three steps
Start an account
Open the dashboard and start free. Your account gets its own database; there is nothing to install.
Import what you have
Import your CSV or Excel files. Each record keeps its import, source file and date.
Export when you need to
Take a list or segment out as CSV for a colleague, another tool or your own backup. See export.
Frequently asked questions
What does a private database per account mean?
Each Riftjaw account runs on its own private server with its own database. Your records are not stored in a shared pool with other customers.
Do I have to run the server myself?
No. We run and maintain the server. Riftjaw is a website you log in to; you do not install or manage anything.
Can other customers see or use my leads?
No. Your list sits in your own database and is not shared with or offered to other accounts.
Who is responsible for the data in my database?
You are the controller of the data you upload and Riftjaw is the processor. That does not make you compliant by itself: you still decide who you email and what you say.
Do I need credits?
No. There are no credits and no cost per record: a flat price per plan, and the size of your list does not change the price.
What is Riftjaw?
Riftjaw is a B2B lead database you own: import the companies you collect, keep every record with its source, sort them into segments and reach them by email in small batches. Each account runs on its own private server with its own database.
